Being located in the Purcell mountains, and diretly across from the Canadian Rockies, the hiking possibilities in the Kimberley area are endless.  For a relaxed local hike, the Kimberley Nature Park and/or Lois Creek trail network will be sure to satisfy.  Check the Kimberley Adventure Map below for more details on the local hiking trails.

For the more adventurous, take a short drive up the St. Mary's Lake road to the trailheads for the Alki Creek and Murphy's Pass trails.  More information on these local hikes can be found at this website.  For the more hardcore hikers, a few days in the St. Mary's Alpine Park will let you know where you are at.  This can also be access by driving up the St. Mary's Lake Road.
